for everyone

Today is Parent's Day here in Korea.

I only know about it yesterday when I asked my friend why there are flower baskets everywhere. The most common gift given to parents is the flower Carnation. I guess, we have to wait for more years before LeRuof comes to understand this practice. But then again, we may have moved on to another country or be back in the Philippines by then. For now, Manuel and I will just content ourselves with the sight of our son... his smile and laughter make us laugh...

Here are some virtual carnations for you to wish you and your husband a Happy Parents Day! Over here, and I guess in the US and Philippines (and lots of other places), Sunday will be Mothers' Day.
